Support ITW
There are many opportunities to help support Island Theatre Workshop. We reach out every day to encourage participation and new experiences for any member of the community who wants to become a part of our theatre family. We cherish our volunteers and we are in constant need of new material, actors, musicians, technical and artistic folks as well as all aspects of production help.
We have newly established an Endowment Trust Fund in a local bank to enable us to receive contributions of funds and real estate with the hope that we will be able to build a long term mechanism to keep Island Theatre Workshop moving forward, perhaps someday have a performance space of our own and most importantly to have the funds available to provide opportunities for young and old to participate in theatre performances and education programs to enrich the cultural life of all concerned in the Vineyard Community.
Now in our 40th season with year 'round classes and performances, the Children's Theatre program continues to bring wonderful theatre experiences to children ages 6 to 18. It is the goal of Children's Theatre to provide theatre and theatre education of the highest quality. Because Summer Children's Theatre is not truly a camp, our goal is to staff the summer program with skilled theatre students and professionals. This comes at a greater cost than a typical camp with general counselors. In addition to fund raising and grant writing, we are reaching out to you, our alumni and friends, to help us continue to provide this kind of opportunity for the young people of today.
The Mary Payne Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1997 to commemorate our founder, in order to provide scholarships for children who would otherwise be unable to attend. We are a 501C3 non-profit organization. Your tax-exempt contribution will support these efforts. Any amount you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Contributions can be made payable to Island Theatre Workshop and sent to:
Island Theatre Workshop, Inc.
Post Office Box 1893
Vineyard Haven, MA 02568
Please designate where you would like your contribution to be applied.
We are grateful to all of the people over the years who have stepped up, remembered Island Theatre Workshop in a bequest, who have given of their time and energy with love and passion for the arts in so many different ways and continue to be involved in our theatre community.
With best regards and love in our hearts,
Stephanie Burke, Board President
Kevin Ryan, Board Vice President
Lee Fierro, Artistic Director
Kaf Warman, Associate Artist Director
